Harmful Sexualised Behaviour Services at Hexagon Care

HSB Services
For over 22 years, Hexagon Care Services has been successfully intervening, treating, and supporting young people who have been both perpetrators and victims of harmful sexualised behaviour (HSB).
Our four specialist HSB homes, based in the North West but accepting placements from local authorities across England, combine residential care delivered by NOTA-accredited staff, therapy from forensic and clinical psychologists, and education from on-site Ofsted Good and Outstanding schools.
Our multidisciplinary teams provide a safe, nurturing space where children and young people can begin their recovery journey. This includes comprehensive psychological assessments that are regularly reviewed, individual Therapeutic Support Plans guiding staff work, and consistent team collaboration via staff meetings and consultations to ensure a cohesive, systemic approach around each child.

Hexagon Care Specialist Therapeutic Services delivers integrated residential care, education and therapy for children and young people displaying harmful sexual behaviours (HSB). Our four six-bed homes in the North-West - The Limes, Cedar Lodge, Elizabeth House (Manchester) and Aidenswood (Congleton), offer safe, structured environments for change.
Care: NOTA-member managers lead stable, highly-qualified teams with exceptional retention, ensuring consistent relationships and confident risk management. Staff upskill through our Learning & Development hub, local safeguarding boards and specialist HSB trainers.
Education: Each home hosts a DfE-registered independent school for up to six boys (11–18). A full-time Head Teacher and Teacher deliver a personalised, broad curriculum plus on- and off-site enrichment. All schools are Ofsted Good or Outstanding and work with placing authorities to drive academic and personal growth.
Therapy: Our in-house clinicians assess, plan and deliver interventions while coaching care and education teams through bespoke training. This integrated model clarifies HSB drivers and equips staff with practical, trauma-informed strategies, ensuring coherent support 24/7.
