In The Registered Manager's Words

The young people at the home each have individual care plans and incentives. We believe we are raising not only children but ‘adults’ who, from their amazingly positive experience at home, can thrive in their future lives. The home encourages the achievement of goals and independence skills that are individually tailored to each child. Even during our most testing of times, the children at the home have all consistently praised the care and support they receive from the team. In their monthly consultations, the feedback is almost always positive. The lads have regular children’s meetings, and all their wishes and requests are documented in the home’s ‘You Said; We Did’ folder with the response from management.

Hexagon Care Specialist Therapeutic Services delivers integrated residential care, education and therapy for children and young people displaying harmful sexual behaviours (HSB). Our four six-bed homes in the North-West - The Limes, Cedar Lodge, Elizabeth House (Manchester) and Aidenswood (Congleton), offer safe, structured environments for change.
Care: NOTA-member managers lead stable, highly-qualified teams with exceptional retention, ensuring consistent relationships and confident risk management. Staff upskill through our Learning & Development hub, local safeguarding boards and specialist HSB trainers.
Education: Each home hosts a DfE-registered independent school for up to six boys (11–18). A full-time Head Teacher and Teacher deliver a personalised, broad curriculum plus on- and off-site enrichment. All schools are Ofsted Good or Outstanding and work with placing authorities to drive academic and personal growth.
Therapy: Our in-house clinicians assess, plan and deliver interventions while coaching care and education teams through bespoke training. This integrated model clarifies HSB drivers and equips staff with practical, trauma-informed strategies, ensuring coherent support 24/7.
