Cedar Lodge: HSB Home, School & Therapy

Take a Tour

In The Registered Manager's Words

The young people at Cedar Lodge experience a genuine sense of warmth and belonging. They are listened to, valued, and supported by staff who build strong, trusting relationships. Each young person embarks on their own individual journey, developing key life skills, independence, confidence, and resilience. These qualities help them adapt to important life transitions, such as spending free time safely in the community, pursuing personal hobbies and interests, enrolling in college, and building active social lives. Cedar Lodge offers a warm, welcoming, and homely environment. The home is built on consistency, emotional safety, and positive relationships. Our aim is to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to thrive -gaining the skills and competencies needed to reach their potential and move towards independent living when they are ready. A therapeutic ethos is deeply embedded in everything we do. The in-house therapy team plays a central role in the home. They provide weekly individual therapy sessions for young people, as well as ongoing support and guidance for the staff team. This includes regular PACE development workshops and bespoke therapeutic input during team meetings, helping staff to reflect and align their care practice. Staff at Cedar Lodge are highly motivated, fully engaged, and committed to delivering the highest standard of care -working together to achieve the best possible outcomes for every young person in our care.
