The main characteristics of Aidenswood are definitely the children, they are happy, friendly and thriving. They have fantastic vibrant personalities. The children have welcoming and friendly relationships with staff and engage in good quality key working and direct work throughout their time here. The young people attend education every day and they make the most out of being in care and utilise the opportunities that they are given. All the teachers here put 100% effort into the child and their really shows on when they first come to Aidenswood school and where they are now. Home, education, and therapy work in triangulation together and strive for the best outcomes for the children, this consists of regular MDT meetings, team around child meetings and therapy & educations presence in team meetings and children’s meetings. The staff team at Aidenswood house have nothing but the children’s best interests at heart and will go above any beyond to create experiences and memories for the young people throughout their time with us. We engage in children’s quarterly consultations, young person’s meeting. We personalise our young person’s bedrooms too! All of our children have memory books which they contribute too and enjoy showing their families when they visit! The home promotes and supports a variety of activities for example go carting, gym, ice cream farm, roller skating, ice skating, boxing, house BBQ’s inviting family, house sports day, action for happiness (via therapy).



Hexagon Care Specialist Therapeutic Services delivers integrated residential care, education and therapy for children and young people displaying harmful sexual behaviours (HSB). Our four six-bed homes in the North-West - The Limes, Cedar Lodge, Elizabeth House (Manchester) and Aidenswood (Congleton), offer safe, structured environments for change.
Care: NOTA-member managers lead stable, highly-qualified teams with exceptional retention, ensuring consistent relationships and confident risk management. Staff upskill through our Learning & Development hub, local safeguarding boards and specialist HSB trainers.
Education: Each home hosts a DfE-registered independent school for up to six boys (11–18). A full-time Head Teacher and Teacher deliver a personalised, broad curriculum plus on- and off-site enrichment. All schools are Ofsted Good or Outstanding and work with placing authorities to drive academic and personal growth.
Therapy: Our in-house clinicians assess, plan and deliver interventions while coaching care and education teams through bespoke training. This integrated model clarifies HSB drivers and equips staff with practical, trauma-informed strategies, ensuring coherent support 24/7.
