Location: Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire – Solo placements
Job title: Senior Residential Support Worker/Team Leader
Earnings: £25,700 to £27,500 DOE
Hours: 37 hours per week/ 10 shifts per month
Shift pattern: 1 shift on, 2 shifts off. (Shifts start at 7:30am, with a sleep in, finishing at 8am the following day)
Essential requirements: 2 years experience working specifically in a children’s home/residential service & NVQ3 in Children and Young People/Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Unfortunately due to regulations, experience supporting in schools, nurseries, after-school clubs or any work with adults is not transferable.
We are opening 2 brand new children’s homes (1 bed, solo placements) that will have 2:1 staffing at all times. As a Senior Residential Support Worker/Team Leader, you will be responsible for actively safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children/young people, and supervise staff on your shift to support the young people in the home.
