Hexagon Care Services are double award winners!

Updated: Jan 8, 2021

Thursday 12th March saw representatives from Hexagon Care Services attend the biggest night in Lancashire’s business calendar- the Red Rose Awards 2020. We had been chosen as finalists in 2 different categories- 'Healthcare Business' and 'In-house Training'. Out of hundreds of applications this meant we had it made it to the final 6 companies in each category- an achievement in itself.

The event was a spectacular occasion. Everyone had scrubbed up well and we watched some fantastic entertainment, including dancers, acrobats and a couple performing daredevil roller-skating tricks. This was followed by a delicious meal and then the important part- the awards.

There were 26 awards presented during the night. We didn’t have to wait long for the ‘Healthcare Business Award’, which was 2nd on the list. As the finalists were read out, we waited with bated breath…. And the winners are…. HEXAGON CARE! Everyone leapt to their feet, celebrating and cheering, and we made our way up onto stage to collect the award. The judges said: “A solid business model that is changing the care industry. Alongside financial success, the strong values , ethos and absolute care for their clients shone through.”

The next award was number 22, the ‘In-house Training Award.’ We celebrated with the other deserving winners in all the other categories, whilst counting down nervously. Surely, we couldn’t win two? Again, the finalists were read out… And the winners are…. HEXAGON CARE! We couldn’t believe it. There were tears and celebrations as we walked up on stage once again to collect our second award of the night, in complete shock. Emotions were high and everyone could see how much this meant to Hexagon Care. The judges said: “Hexagon Care have meticulously developed their training platforms with the ‘head, heart and hands’ concept and show good evidence of the results of training on staff and the business.”

This is a superb achievement for the company. We would like to thank each and every member of staff for helping us to provide a positive and inspiring culture, which has ultimately led to us receiving these awards. We are so proud that the company and its people have been recognised for their fantastic efforts.
