Salary: £23,795 to £32,368 (dependent on experience)

Hexagon Care Services is a forward thinking and privately owned National Provider of Children’s Services. Within the services they offer, they run 8 small independent schools which educate boys and girls between 11 and 18 which cater for pupils with a range of complex needs. All schools are rated either ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.
The Cedars School is situated on the same site as The Cedars children’s home and is a special school for up to four pupils with autistic spectrum disorder. All pupils have an education, health and care plan, but this is not a requirement to be admitted to the school. The home and school will work in close partnership to provide a holistic package of support which will include care, therapy and education. At KS3 the school offers a broad and balanced education in line with the national curriculum. At KS4 the school offers a range of accreditation including ASDAN, Entry Level and Functional Skills. There is the option to study GCSEs for the more academically able pupils.

- Have previous experience of working in an ASD setting
- Have QTS status – qualified to teach KS3/4 Science, Maths or English
